Tony Hawk's Son Riley Hawk Shares Glimpse of Baby Boy With Frances Bean Cobain

Smells like a newborn baby!

Riley Hawk, the son of skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, shared a glimpse at his newborn baby, Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk, who he shares with wife Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain.

Riley, who is a professional skateboarder like his father, shared an adorable photo on his Instagram Story Oct. 15 of his son wearing a blue onesie with the Baker Skateboards logo on its chest.

The photo comes a few weeks after Riley, 31—whose mom is the athlete's ex-wife Cindy Dunbar—and Frances, 32, announced the birth of their first child together Sept. 28 with a series of black-and-white photos.

In one of the pictures, Riley sweetly swaddles Ronin in his arms as he looks down at him adoringly, while the infant grabs his mother's hand in another.

"9.17.2024 Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk," Frances captioned her Instagram post. "Welcome to the world most beautiful son. We love you more than anything."

First-time grandfather Tony was quick to comment on the post, cheekily writing, "My favorite grandson!"

The couple welcomed their first baby together nearly a year after they tied the knot in southern California. Frances' godfather, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, officiated the October 2023 nuptials.

They first started dating in 2021, and it wasn't until the following year that Frances, who was previously married to Isaiah Silva, confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

"I took a year long break from posting on Instagram which was exceptionally good for my mental, emotional & spiritual health," the model and visual artist wrote at the time. "2021 brought me more into the present moment than I've ever been, which I'm deeply grateful for. I wanted to share a few moments that were captured / created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy."

Riley was featured twice in the corresponding Instagram carousel: Once holding a dog, and once cuddling with Frances next to his father, Tony.

The former professional skateboarder showed love to the couple when wishing his oldest son a happy birthday on social media last December.

"I am thankful he found the love of his life and a healthy, disciplined approach to adulthood," he wrote. "And that he is inspiring his younger siblings by example. We had a blast at the wedding and we love you Riley!"
