Influencer Dies Falling Off Bridge While Filming: Girlfriend Reveals His Final Words

Days after a British influencer died while attempting to film a stunt, his loved ones are breaking their silence.

Lewis Stevenson’s girlfriend Savannah Parker shared a heartbreaking tribute to the late influencer after the 26-year-old fell to his death while illegally scaling the 630-foot high Castilla-La Mancha Bridge in Talavera de la Reina.

"It’s 5am and I haven’t eaten or slept. Someone tell me this is a nightmare," she wrote on Facebook Oct. 13. "I feel violently sick at the fact you’re not coming back. Please come back. Answer the phone."

Savannah continued, "Thank you everyone for your messages and love. If I’ve not replied know that I’ve seen it and appreciate it. I can’t reply to everyone I'm too overwhelmed. Anyone in a relationship PLEASE hug your person extra tight for me."

She also revealed her boyfriend's final words to her, which he made via text before climbing the bridge.

"We spoke at half eleven and the last thing he said to me was, "Good night, I love you,'" Savannah told MailOnline. "He messaged me at half five to say, "Good morning" with three kisses. I didn't see it until quarter to eight."

Lewis, who has shared many photos of his climbing stunts all over the world on social media, had begun his excursions at least five years ago, according to his girlfriend.

"As much as it worries me, I don't look into things because I worry enough as it is and I just let him do his thing and generally he just comes back," Savannah said. "This weekend he didn't."

Lewis was not alone during his final one. Talavera de la Reina's Councillor for Citizen Security, Macarena Muñoz, who did disclose the identity of the deceased beyond describing him as a British man, confirmed he had been at the bridge with another British man, 24, at the time of his death.

"They had come to Talavera to climb the bridge and create content for social networks," the official said in a Spanish-language statement released by the mayor's office, "which has resulted in this disastrous and sad outcome."

She added that climbing the bridge is "totally prohibited and that we have reiterated on many occasions that it cannot be done under any circumstances."

Lewis' grandfather, Clifford Stevenson, 70, said that they tried to talk the influencer out of doing such stunts.

"We were always trying to talk him out of doing things but that was the way he was," he told MailOnline. "He loved doing it, always went out there believing he'd be alright. He did what he did for his own pleasure. He did not get any money for it, he was an adventurer."
