The Hilarious Reason Zendaya Won’t Take a Dance Class With Boyfriend Tom Holland

Zendaya is shaken up at the thought of dancing with Tom Holland.

Though the Shake It Up alum can no doubt hold her own in a dance battle—as she proved on season 16 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars—the thought of taking the dance floor with her long-time boyfriend is enough to rattle the 28-year-old.

“He's too good, it would piss me off,” the Euphoria actress admitted to Teen Vogue in an interview published Oct. 15. “I would want to take someone who could be equally as bad as me.”

Can we really blame Zendaya? In 2017, the Uncharted actor broke the internet with his performance to Rihanna’s “Umbrella” on Lip Sync Battle. And fans can’t seem to forget the iconic moment.

"I've really worked hard in my career, and I've really been calculated in deciding what it is I do and when I do it," he joked about the dance battle against his now-girlfriend to The Hollywood Reporter in a June 14 interview."And for all the movies that I'm incredibly proud of, the Lip Sync Battle is what I get the most compliments for."

Although the Greatest Showman actress is far from having two left feet, she would opt for a dance partner that’s a bit less advanced.

“You know who would be fun at it?” she questioned. “Honestly, my little niece who's 8. I would like to take a dance class with her. That would be fun.”

The “Replay” singer may be opposed to land activities with Tom, but she’s open to making a splash with her Spider-Man costar on a kayaking date.

“With the kayak, you have to be in sync with the person,” she explained. “And I think it would be hilarious because we are both very controlling and we both want to be in charge. So it would be funny to watch us be like, ‘no, we're going to go this way. No, we're going to go that way.’ And I think it would be a good story after the fact.”
