Gabourey Sidibe Jokes Her Twin Babies Have Humbled Her “Beyond Repair”

Gabourey Sidibe isn’t precious when it comes to her candid Instagram Reels.

The 41-year-old had plenty of fun in a recent video of herself getting ready to take her 6-month-old twins Cooper and Maya to the pediatrician.

“I TOO, have never aspired to be humble,” she captioned the clip, referencing Kamala Harris’ recent viral quote, “but the twins have humbled me beyond repair I fear.”

In the clip, the Precious actress was seen attempting to attach a wig while wearing a spit-up covered shirt and specifically referenced her son Cooper.

“My son and I have a difference of opinion about who I should be,” she explained. “My son thinks that just because I’m bald-headed with spit-up all over me at home, that that’s also who I should be in the streets, and no. No, I don’t have to be bald-headed and spit upon in the streets. Imma be flourishing. Ok? Ok?”

The Oscar nominee then mused about the idea of putting on eyeliner before changing her mind and exclaiming, “You know, who am I? Never mind. I’m gonna take this off and never mind.”

Of course, Sidibe got some love from her husband Brandon Frankel, who commented on the post, “You’re doing great, love.”

The couple is soaking up quality family time with their newest additions and doing so with a health dose of humor.

On Oct. 14, Sidibe shared a video of her twins playing with musical toys on the floor while grabbing at her foot, captioning the clip, “Worst foot rub ever.”

Frankel agreed, adding, “They still owe me thousands of dollars for all my massages and they refuse to pay.”

The family is gearing up for the next major milestone with their little cuties: Halloween. Frankel has already expressed his excitement preparing for a family costume, writing on Instagram, “Can’t wait for them to get to experience Halloween…AND COSTUMES!”
