Heidi Klum’s Sneak Peek at 2024 Halloween Costume Has Fans Making Eerie Guesses
Heidi Klum knows how to keep the people on their toes.
The Queen of Halloween is known to go all-out for the bone-chilling holiday, with past costumes ranging from a picture-perfect Jessica Rabbit to an overgrown worm. And 2024 ought to be no different, as she hinted at her latest getup on social media ahead of her annual Halloween bash in New York City Oct. 31.
In an Instagram photo shared hours before her spooky soiree, the longtime America’s Got Talent judge teased what appeared to be a giant model of a big toe—or perhaps a thumb—highlighting its size by wrapping her manicured hand around the artificial appendage.
Shortly thereafter, the supermodel, 51, posted another cryptic teaser, this time showing a close-up video of a scaly prosthetic being blow-dried.
The posts were enough to get fans guessing what this year’s costume could be, as Heidi’s followers flooded the comments with their best theories as to what she’d be dressed up as.
“She said it was something from another planet,” one comment read. “She's going as E.T.”
Other guesses included Beauty and the Beast or King Kong, while another user predicted that Heidi was dressing up as a Thumb Thumb from Spy Kids, commenting with a GIF of the faceless henchmen from the 2001 action comedy.
“Are you going be a foot,” another follower wondered. “The lines on your face is giving knuckles.”
Heidi showed off those “lines” during an Amazon Live broadcast, offering a clearer look at her preparations as her glam squad applied beige prosthetic strips to her face and neck. She also said that preparations for the costume began back in November 2023, and that this year’s idea “has never been done before.”
During the broadcast, Heidi further teased the ensemble by revealing it would once again be a couples costume with husband Tom Kaulitz. She later posted a video of the Tokio Hotel member in the makeup chair, captioning the clip writing, “He is such a good sport.”
