Is Tell Me Lies Getting a Season 3? Jackson White Says…

Jackson White is only telling the truth about Tell Me Lies.

With season two of the Hulu series premiering Oct. 16, the actor—who played antagonist Stephen DeMarco with Grace Van Patten as Lucy Albright—shared whether a third was in its future.

"It could happen right now," Jackson joked to E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview. "I'll turn my ringer on. The producer wanted to call."

And while the 28-year-old awaits the final verdict on the drama series, he's also more than ready to jump back into the role.

"I would love to do season three," he continued. "Some of my closest friends I met on this show. It's so fun to make it with them."

But he's also taking time to appreciate the newest season, which he noted concludes in a very dramatic fashion.

"It's like reality TV," Jackson, whose character was part of a traumatic death in season one, explained. "It's juicy, it's relentless. It wraps up some things, it also leaves a lot open-ended. It's well-crafted."

As for what viewers can expect?

"We see how the initial toxicity is impacting everyone else in the circle," he said. "It's a wild ride."

Stephen and Lucy’s relationship may also take a turn as the pair shifts from enemies to lovers again.

"People would describe it different ways," he said of their dynamic. "But I just think they're mistaking lightning bolts for compatibility. They're experiencing that really exciting thing you get when you're in young love but mistaking that for healthy and it's really just toxic and wild."

Meanwhile, Grace previously admitted that she only wants what’s best for her character.

"I hope she gets to know herself a little bit better and gets what she deserves," Grace told E! at Disney’s 2024 Emmys after-party last month, "which is not what she's being put through right now. And also to grow herself, probably go to therapy and figure some things out before being in a relationship."

And the 27-year-old is so grateful to have Jackson, who she's dating IRL, by her side to develop their characters' storylines, which has also been cathartic for them.

"Because we established that dynamic first season, the second season was a lot easier to switch on and off," she noted. "We're so different from these characters, so it's honestly just an opportunity to get all of our bad feelings out so that there's none left by the time we go home."
