Cody Rhodes set to fight major ally of Roman Reigns on next episode of WWE RAW
Cody Rhodes marked his return to WWE SmackDown since 2016. On Friday night, The American Nightmare defeated Ludwig Kaiser in a one-on-one fight.
While Rhodes battled out in the ring against Kaiser, Roman Reigns' manager Paul Heyman entered the arena and stood at the sidelines. Heyman was later joined by The Enforcer Of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa and both kept a close tab on the fight by Rhodes. After Rhodes victory, Heyman challenged The American Nightmare for a one-on-one match against Sikoa on the upcoming Monday night RAW. Rhodes accepted the duel, much to the cheer of the crowd.

In last episode of RAW, Rhodes had confronted The Tribal Chief and threatened to defeat him in their upcoming title match. The 37-year-old had predicted that The Bloodline family would desert Reigns on April 3 upon his defeat at WrestleMania. In the heat of the moment, Rhodes had then attacked Sikoa who wanted to hit back but was stopped from doing so by Reigns.
Interestingly, 2023 Royal Rumble winner Rhodes is set to fight for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship title against Reigns at WrestleMania 39.
Meanwhile, the match card for WrestleMania 39 received a major update as Rey Mysterio accepted his son's(Dominik Mysterio) challenge for a one-on-one fight. Dominik had been provoking his father for a duel for quite some time now while Rey kept shrugging it off. But on Friday, Dominik's insult of his mother proved to be the trigger for Rey to hit his son and accept the contest at The Showcase Of The Immortals.
