Watch: Dominik Mysterio walks out of Rey Mysterio's 2023 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony

Rey Mysterio got inducted into the 2023 WWE Hall Of Fame in a gala ceremony after SmackDown on Friday night. Andy Kaufman, Stacy Keibler, The Great Muta and Tim White were the other persons to receive the honour.

The 2023 WWE Hall Of Fame induction ceremony was graced by several superstars, former wrestlers and their families. In Rey's moment of greatness, his wife and daughter were by his side.

But his son Dominik Mysterio left the event when Rey was about to start his acceptance speech. Dominik walked out along with The Judgement Day members namely Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest.

Meanwhile, Rey took to Twitter to express his happiness after becoming a Hall Of Famer. The luchador thanked his family and the WWE Universe for their love and support. He also emphasised that he was ready to take on Dominik at WrestleMania.

"I am truly humbled and honored to be inducted into the #WWEHallOfFame. Thank you to all my family, fellow superstars and the WWE Universe, you are all familia. Tonight, we all celebrate. Tomorrow, I take care of business at #WrestleMania. #BOOYAKA," tweeted Rey after receiving the honour.

Rey will lock horns with his son Dominik in a one-on-one fight at WrestleMania 39. Dominik had been persistent in his efforts to provoke his father to fight him. And on March 24 edition of WWE SmackDown, Dominik insulted his own mother and sister which proved to be the trigger for Rey to finally accept to fight him.

After walking out of the ceremony, Dominik sent across a message for Rey from backstage.

"Mr. Hall of Fame! All I see is a deadbeat dad that I'm gonna beat tomorrow at WrestleMania. See you there, jefe," said Dominik.
