Gardner Minshew Delivers Hilarious Photo Shoot In New Las Vegas Raiders Gear
The Las Vegas Raiders signed quarterback Gardner Minshew this off-season to compete with second-year QB Aidan O'Connell, who played 11 games in his rookie season. The results were mixed and it never hurts to bring a veteran presence into the locker room, especially at the quarterback position.
Thus, Las Vegas landed on Minshew who is now on his fourth team since entering the league in 2019. Minshew played well in his two seasons in Jacksonville, but the Jaguars drafted Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick in 2021.

Minshew went to Philadelphia to back up Jalen Hurts and then to Indianapolis to back up Anthony Richardson. Richardson missed the majority of his rookie season, so Minshew continued to see time on the field.
He threw for over 3,000 yards, but with Richardson coming back this year, Minshew went to a team where he could threaten to start if O'Connell struggles.
Minshew's play isn't always great – there's a reason he's generally backing up a starter and has moved to a fourth team in six years – but his attitude is nearly always positive.
Enter: the Las Vegas Raiders photo shoot. Minshew took photos in his new digs and, predictably, delivered hilarious results.
It'll be interesting to see how the Raiders approach this season with regard to the quarterback position. O'Connell showed flashes as a rookie, but certainly didn't blow anyone away. They brought in Minshew, who has plenty of starting experience, which seemed like a signal that they wanted a solid backup plan.
Las Vegas is in a tough spot, too, because they play in the AFC West. The Kansas City Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. The Los Angeles Chargers have Justin Herbert and Jim Harbaugh. The Denver Broncos … well, they're in the division, too.
No matter what happens on the field, though, don't expect Gardner Minshew to change.
