Jim Boeheim Verbally Buries North Carolina State With Comments On Live TV
Jim Boeheim verbally crushed North Carolina State on live TV Tuesday.
The Wolfpack defeated Louisville 94-85 in the opening round of the ACC Tournament, and one player was caught on the broadcast flashing the hand motion for fake goggles.
Boeheim wasn't impressed at all, and made sure everyone watching the broadcast knew his stance the North Carolina State program.
"I don't know why anybody that's got the recent history of these guys is celebrating…anything, except I guess being here. That's all I can say…Let's not celebrate until we win a game," Boeheim said during the win for the Wolfpack to get the ACC tournament underway.

It turns out Jim really isn't holding back since retiring from coaching. He was out there snatching souls Tuesday night. North Carolina State earned a win and still ended up taking a giant loss.
While he's certainly being critical, Boeheim is also not wrong. Below are the records of the past five season:
- 18-14 (ongoing)
- 23-11
- 11-21
- 14-11
- 20-12
The Wolfpack have just two NCAA Tournament appearances since the 2015-2016 season, and both appearances resulted in first round losses. Far from the worst program in America, but definitely not the kind of team that moves the needle at all.
Apparently, that means you're not allowed to celebrate plays during a game, according to Jim Boeheim. It's such a hardo stance that you simply have to respect it.
You don't have back-to-back Final Four appearances? Then sit your but on the bench and don't even think about celebrating a three. Don't do it, folks! You want to smile? Start hanging banners. That's the Jim Boeheim standard.
