Kylie Jenner Claps Back at Critic Who Called Her and Kendall Jenner's Halloween TikTok "Awkward"

Hey now, think twice before you come for Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.

The sisters—who dressed up for Halloween as Lizzie McGuire and Isabella Parigi from Hilary Duff’s 2003 film The Lizzie McGuire Movie—were having such a beautiful night together, posing for photos and singing along to the film’s iconic final number, “What Dreams Are Made Of.”

Which is why when one user commented on the beauty mogul’s TikTok—claiming that the duo’s lip-syncing video “felt awkward”—Kylie had the perfect clapback ready.

As she noted in response to the comment, “U obvi haven’t seen the movie.”

Because after all, she and her sister perfectly channeled Lizzie and Isabella’s shy-to-epic performance, as Lizzie (played by Kendall) goes from feeling nervous onstage to totally nailing it with the encouragement of Isabella—or in this case, her sister.

And not only did the pair act the parts, but their costumes were also perfectly on point.

For her part, Kylie wore an exact replica of Isabella’s green, cropped leather jacket and skirt combo. The 27-year-old even had the same glittery boots and heart-shaped choker, wearing her dark hair in billowing curls a-la Isabella’s locks.

Kendall, meanwhile, wore a two-piece lavender suit, complete with bell-bottoms and cropped top that perfectly matched Lizzie’s movie getup. The supermodel—who recently went blonde—even donned a pop-star headset microphone.

And while at least the one user felt the costumed performance to be awkward, other fans were living for the moment.

“You don’t understand how iconic this is,” one user wrote on the Oct. 31 video, while another added, “The way Kylie knew every move. Same girl same.”

But in true Kardashian fashion, this was not the end of either sister’s spooky season looks.

In addition to Isabella, Kylie also looked to another iconic film moment for her other Halloween look: Demi Moore’s 1996 film Striptease. And much like Demi did for the film’s poster, Kylie, too, completely stripped down as she posed naked.

With her arms and legs carefully positioned, the Kylie Cosmetics founder looked the spitting image of Demi, her black wig flowing in the wind.

Kendall, however, opted for another partner costume, looking to pal Hailey Bieber to recreate Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton’s The Simple Life show poster.

Specifically, the duo recreated the iconic farm look, in which Paris and Nicole pose with a pitchfork in denim looks that are not entirely appropriate for a hard day’s work in the stables.

Hailey captioned an Oct. 31 TikTok of the pair, in which they lip-synced to a scene from the show, “Happy Halloween from Paris and Nicole.”
