Madeleine White Shares Her Dos and Don'ts for Wedding to DJ Andrew Fedyk
Madeleine White might be into DIY, but not when it comes to her bridal look.
Indeed, while the TikToker showed off her stunning handmade gown at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards on Oct. 28, she revealed she won’t be taking the same approach for her upcoming wedding to Andrew Fedyk.
Noting she will “absolutely not” be making her own wedding dress, Madeleine exclusively told E! News, “I will be outsourcing. That is one day that I am taking off.”
The same goes for the 28-year-old’s groom, as the DJ’s involvement in the wedding will solely be as the one saying his “I dos.”
“My fiancé is a musician and people always ask him is he doing the music and he’s like, ‘No,’” Madeleine added. “I’m relaxing, we are both off that day. I have bought my dress. It is a beautiful designer so definitely not DYI-ing that one.”
When it comes to the designer she’s chosen for her big day, the influencer is keeping her pick a “secret." But while they don’t have all details ironed out, including being “TBD on DJ,” she did share insight into what they are looking for.
“We wanted somebody fun, something kind of funny or quirky,” she explained, adding, “so if you have any suggestions, let me know!”
Madeleine has kept her millions of followers involved in her wedding dress shopping, showing off some of the bridal gown contenders through multiple videos including one back in August.
As Madeleine previously told E! News, "I'm making it my personal mission to try on as many dresses as possible."
As for what it was like when Andrew got down on one knee in December? Well, Madeleine admitted that she had just one stipulation for her then-boyfriend of three-and-a-half years.
"I made Andrew promise one thing," the British model explained to E! News at the time. "He could make it a surprise but he had to give me an hour heads up so I could actually have a 'fit.’"
And when her man dropped the hint during their trip to Toronto that they were off to dinner at Casa Loma, a Gothic Revival castle-style mansion and garden in the Canadian city, Madeleine took the hint and ran with it.
"I've been wrong before," she admitted while shooting her let's-get-ready-to-get-engaged-I-think video for her 4.6 million TikTok followers. "But this is the first time I've felt confident enough to film the video."
