Golden Bachelorette’s Joan Vassos Claps Back at Martha Stewart for Saying Men on Show “Aren’t Hot Enough”

Joan Vassos has cooked up some thoughts about Martha Stewart.

The Golden Bachelorette star said that she reached out to the culinary guru after she made claims about the men vying for her love.

“I DM’d her last night and I said dating it hard out there and I had a great group of guys she doesn’t know them like I know them, Joan said during an Oct. 22 interview with Access Hollywood. “I got to know the inside of them as well as the outside both are wonderful.”

Martha’s recent comments came during her Oct. 20 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, when Andy Cohen asked if she would consider looking for love as the Golden Bachelorette, even if a million dollars was on the table.

The Food Network star wasn’t convinced, comma saying, “The guys aren’t hot enough.”

However, Joan doesn’t believe Martha can possibly be talking about her men.

“I guess maybe Martha Stewart didn’t watch or didn’t see what I saw in them,” she told Access Hollywood. “Maybe it has to be in person. I think everybody has fallen in love with them. I’m like, ‘What’s wrong with you Martha?’”

As the first ever Golden Bachelorette, Joan is the midst of having her own shot at love with men who range from the ages of 57 to 69 years old.

The private school administrator—who briefly tried to find love with the Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner—has been open about the connecting with the contestants, who are also hopeful about their journeys.

“You share a lot of really intimate details about your life, like emotional things," Joan told E! News in September. "And so I formed love connections with a lot of the men, not all of them romantic. But when you share those kind of really personal things—honestly, you're gonna see this in a really good way, but a really emotional journey for everybody, the men and myself—that you do form really deep connections with people."
