Kendall Jenner Debuts Head-Turning Blonde Hair Transformation
Blondes have more fun—or at least Kendall Jenner seems to think so.
The supermodel is finally putting the theory to the test, trading in her signature dark brown locks for a chic, golden-blonde hairstyle. Kendall revealed her stunning hair transformation in a Sept. 11 Instagram post, ending New York Fashion Week in the most iconic way.
After all, it was only fitting to hard-launch her new look in a series of pictures taken in front of a gorgeous view of the New York City skyline with the caption, “blonded.”
As for the person responsible for this drastic change, celebrity colorist Jenna Perry was the one to usher in this new era for the 818 Tequila founder, just as she did in 2022 when she gave Kendall her gingery red hair that took the world by storm.
“It took me two days to take her this gorgeous shade of golden blonde,” Perry told Vogue in a Sept. 11 interview. “She is really inspired by the ’90s and Caroline Bessette-Kennedy right now.”
The 28-year-old has been having fun switching up her looks, as the latest big change comes less than a month after she swapped her signature style for a bold bob-and-bangs look for her recent Calvin Klein campaign—which featured the 28-year-old frolicking around the beach in a black leather jacket, short shorts and boots.
In fact, experimenting with different looks is something she has in common with sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Just one week before Kendall’s transformation, Kylie stepped out in Los Angeles rocking a drastic new blue hairstyle. And a few days before that, the SKIMS founder revealed a new candy apple red to ring in fall. After all, if there’s anyone that can tell Kendall about the power of a new hairstyle, it’s Kim.
"I have different energy when I'm blonde. I'm a totally different person," she told Allure in August 2022. "I'm sassier. I'm more confident as a blonde. As soon as I go back to brunette, I'm a boss."
