Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause Says She Has Receipts on "Snake" Nicole Young
Don't expect a reconciliation between Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young anytime soon.
Following recent online drama involving the two, who have feuded for over a year, Chrishell minced no words when discussing the possibility of moving forward and becoming friends.
"Absolutely not," she told E! News cohost Keltie Knight in an interview airing Sept. 5 at 11 p.m. "I think she's proven the snake that she is. I tried this season to drop everything and really meant it and it wasn't until I watched the show that I saw how conniving she could be. Because you guys haven't seen the receipts yet, but I have."
Chrishell made her comments days after alleging on her Instagram Stories Aug. 31, per Us Weekly, that Nicole had told a "disgusting lie about a bestie," with costar Chelsea Lazkani later stating on her own social media that the person in question is their colleague Emma Hernan. E! News has reached out to Emma's rep for comment and has not heard back.
Nicole, who began feuding with Chrishell on Selling Sunset after joining the series in season six in 2023, had responded to her costar's Instagram accusations on her own social media while adding more context.
"As a married woman, I strongly and confidently stand for the sanctity of all marriages," she wrote on her Instagram Story Aug. 31. "Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions."
Nicole continued, "Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season 7 finale by the wife's best friend? Even still, I stated this info as a rumor."
Neither Chrishell nor Chelsea has responded directly to Nicole's social media comments. E! News has reached out to their reps and has not heard back.
In her interview with E! News, Chrishell said she was "a little conflicted" about the upcoming eighth season of Selling Sunset. "Nicole was able to make a rumor about my best friend that I know is not true," she said. "She's going to be able to prove that it isn't true, but she wasn't given the chance on the show to prove as much."
She added that despite this, "there are a lot of positives" about season eight. "Nicole, for instance, said a lot of untrue things to me, but I was able to defend myself," she added. "And I think the audience, you want to see somebody be able to defend themselves."
Selling Sunset season eight premieres Sept. 6 on Netflix.
