The Fate of Perfect Match Revealed After Season 2

Netflix’s most famous singles are getting another shot at love.

The streaming service announced June 27 that Perfect Match will return for season three just weeks after its second installment debuted.

Hosted by Nick Lachey, the reality competition show will continue to feature a mix of eligible singles from shows like Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum, Too Hot to Handle and The Mole.

Indeed, the most recent season captivated the audience with fan-favorite contestants and reality villains alike coupling up in a tropical villa. Among the season two standouts were Love Is Blind’s Jessica Vestal (season six), Izzy Zapata (season five) and Micah Lussier (season four); Too Hot To Handle’s Harry Jowsey (season one) and Elys Hutchinson (season five); The Trust's Tolú Ekundare and so many more.

After all, as the show progressed, some contestants found themselves in some eyebrow-raising situations. For instance, Harry and Jess seemed to be each other’s perfect match until he stirred up a scandal with fellow Too Hot to Handle alum Melinda Berry (season two). After the pair were caught getting intimate while they thought cameras weren’t rolling, his romance with Jess quickly ended.

And he understood why that debacle ended his romance with the Love Is Blind alum.

“I understand I'm not the easiest person to date," Harry recently told E! News. "Maybe I jumped into Perfect Match a little too soon, and I think she probably didn't get the best version of me."

Meanwhile, Jess has accepted the outcome of their relationship. As she put it, "I just know that's all on him, and it doesn't have to do with me."

And while she’s still processing their split, the 29-year-old reflected on what led to them parting ways.

"I think probably lack of communication, lack of transparency," she admitted E! News. "Maybe him not having realistic expectations—like, him setting the expectations one way and wanting them to be that way, but not being able to deliver on them. The execution just wasn't there. It was an ‘I knew better' kind of thing, so I don't blame him."

While we want to see which singles will make it to the villa next season, keep reading for all the shows that have been canceled and renewed in 2024.
